It got this new audience but many feel that the new audience won't stick around. Another thing to consider (as I'm replying to a lot of things you've posted and they're all just smooshed together in my head right now): You talk about the dismal performance of the PS3 following the stellar performance of the PS2. There were a lot of factors that contributed to the PS3's lackluster performance. What if Nintendo launches a new platform called the Wii U and it fails to match the Wii's success? Will that suddenly make the Wii a failure lol? |
I never said sells dont matter, what i said was you guys claim the PS2 is for everyone because it sold so much, well the DS and Wii sold alot as well and you guys claim they didnt appeal to everyone. What im asking is what are these high selling casual games lol? You guys have yet to name any, because they dont exist, which means the PS2 did well with the core and didnt appeal to everyone. All those "different" gamers you named are all core so what was the point of that lol. My point is the PS2 didnt appeal to everyone and you agree so end of discussion. I never said the Wii did, thats just your butthurt coming out. Since im attacking the PS2, you want to attack the Wii. Genres mean nothing if those games are core lol. All the PS2 had was the core so thanks for helping me prove that. The rest of your post im going to ignore, the Wiiu wont flop as hard as the PS3 thats for sure.
