Pokemon has a wonderful atmosphere. Lots of travel between cities with friends, highly intelligent pets who seem incredibly loyal. Hell, electric types alone could solve the world's energy crisis.
In a more challenging front, I wouldn't mind a bit of Phantasy Star action on Ragol, get the friends together on a mothership, beam down and hack away at aliens with laser swords. Probably seems a little like Star Wars.
