Of course 720/PS4 are going to be much more powerful than 360/PS3, which is what the Wii U seems to be on par with, maybe a bit better.
Why would MS/Sony release a new console if it is not significantly more powerful than the previous iteration. Consumers aren't going to pay big money to buy new consoles which are only just a "little" better. If anyone thinks otherwise, they need to seriously lay off those hallucinogens they are on.
