Chrono Trigger costs something like $70 new in the US (SNES).
It was very expensive (don't have the documentation at hand right now).
I also remember paying $50 for USCF Chess for the Intellivision (that's $106.11 in 2007).

PS -- I got my Ogre Battle 64 by trading in three games (two of them Foresaken 64) to EB Games.
