spurgeonryan said: It is simple and I have the answer for you all, but you will have to listen and not get angry when I say it. Last week almost every thread was in the 100's and 200's on up to 500's of posts. I swear to god they were! Just go back a few pages. We have banned and pushed around the people who are posting. When you take out the people that make up your business you have no customers. I am not saying the mods are wrong to do this, I am just saying that ....no matter what you do in life there will be consequences. Libroex has been hitting it out of the park as of late with Nintendo threads the last few weeks. Where is he? School started this week for many. What happened to our posters? Ninpie vanished and that is 100 posts a day, Man bear all but vanished, Basel does not like to be called a spammer and left, APM = non-existent, Kantor, Carl, etc gone. Big users like Millenium and Yo_john fed up and gone, Mordred and Darth gone again. What happened to RolStoppable? He is back, but is he? Controversial members have been weeded out or are not on as much, HappyDolphin has a problem with Vgchart addiction and leaves on a weekly basis as well. Nothing is going on right now. Pieces of the puzzle that made the site successful are leaving or not posting like they should be and it takes a while to figure it out. All of this happened all at once. So it has hit the site a bit. Hopefully some will come back and start posting like they should. If not we will have to wait for new new members to take their spot. We were on a roll for a while! But like I said, this could all just be going on for the start of school. For all any of us knows tomorrow it could be booming again. What do I know? I am only here all day long and night. |
You know, I have the feeling that you nailed it with this post. Weekend are notoriously horrible on VGChartz so things won't be booming tomorrow, either. I'm usually not on during the weekends but I do peek in with my phone and it doesn't look good. Hopefully we have a good Monday.
