Do you let others win at video games?

I don't think it makes sense to let someone outright win. Like other people have said you can go into the game with a preset handicap like a weaker team or somebody your not familiar with. Because nobody likes a game where there is no challenge then its not a game anymore.

Although if I see someone that's clearly a beginner in a game I will go easy and let them come close to winning. This way they can see where they went wrong and hopefully improve on it getting better in the game as they play more. As competitive games are always better with people of equal skill.
