Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (PS3 & 360) and Heavenly Sword didn't have great framerates either but were playable enough and Fable III was mostly acceptable but became unplayable at times with the framerate slowing down enough to be considered a slideshow, when it happens it's only brief so it doesn't disrupt the flow of the game too much, still annoying though.


Ahhh, that makes sense. I turned off those effects before even playing the game. Can't stand rubbish post processing effects in games like this :)

 

Maybe that is the root of this.
