For the health of each of the companies, and for the health of the industry as a whole, I hope they will all be unique ...
While I hope that each of the consoles can play the vast majority of big budget "core" games next generation, but most games released should be exclusive to each console and be interesting and unique experiences that take advantage of the system they're on. The more the consoles become carbon copies of eachother, and the more the games on those systems become carbon copies of eachother, the more likely something (like tablets) could replace videogame consoles.
