I never understood why the extremly hard difficulty of this franchise is actually seen as good. I bet if the games had an average difficulty they would have a 10 points lower meta each. I've played the first one for about ten hours and it was pretty mediocre to me, despite of how boring it is to die over and over again.

Hahahahaha! The game is not difficult, its just challenging. It invites you to play more seriously and pay attention. Progressing through the game as you slay demon's gives you a very rewarding feeling that is not found in any other game.

I dont think you were meant to play the game. Rushing, thinking you're chuck norris and die countless times is boring indeed.

Yeah, I really don't have so much time to get used to a game, either the patience. My time is limited and I want to have fun immediately while gaming.Demon Souls failed to give me that.

Still, GoW III Titan mode was a challenge, Castlevania Lords of Shadow was a challenge, no way to "chuck norris" through the game, but still great. At least the game explains the mechanics, which Demon's Souls was completely lacking and constantly losing your XP was also very frustrating.
