A lot of people try to give general answers here... I think you need to consider your case specifically. The very fact that you're asking shows that you deviate from the "western standard". First of all, if it makes you feel uncomfortable afterwards, then maybe don't do it. The guilt could be the result of you feeling like you're hiding something. Talk to your gf to get an idea of what's okay with her. If she doesn't care, then go to town! If she doesn't want you doing it, then it's probably not okay, and you shouldn't do it.
