What if PS4 or 720 have multiple tablet controllers? Is Wii U 'Doomed'?

WiiU can only support two max and even that will cause game slow-down.   There are no announced games that support more than one tablet controller, and so no one will be buying an extra controller, so no one will produce games for a non-existing audience.

It will support two "at a later time" ... meaning probably 2013. Then there will be plenty of games that do. The latest dev kits just now have the capability to work with two gamepads, so of course these first games didn't have that support. Additionally, at first you won't even be able to buy the gamepad separately.

But by next year it will be there and probably bundled with some big Nintendo IP to push the 2nd controller option. Mario Kart 8 anyone?

Did not know that.  Thanks for the info.   Still, it'll probably have little 3rd party support because it'll be a small audience at best that have it.
