Katrina was a cat 5 when it hit... this is predicted to be a cat 2. It should be far less impacting to the region and hopefully no major floods again.

Yes, Katrina peaked as Cat 5, infact it's one of the top 10 most intense hurricanes ever recorded in the Atlantic, but it only made landfall as Cat 3 (just shy of Cat 4). Still, even at that level, it was very large in size and caused cataclysmic flooding due to storm surge.
