Just my two coins in the debate (as if anybody would care ^^) :

I use a X360 controller for PC gaming (Shank, Blur, Witcher 2, Batman:AC & AA, Darskiders 2, Recettear). I bought it to play Dead Space 1 years ago. I use it, it works fine, but I feel it too heavy and too big. After long gaming session, I feel my hands a little stiff... Also, :captain obvious mode: the D-pad is just shit, in some games, you just end up with the wrong command because of that... I can't imagine the fighting games player what a nightmare it must be...

I use a PS3 controller for :revelation: my PS3 games. FPS, Action games and blah blah. I like it because I feel it very lightweight. However, on the minus side i think the position of the trangle cross circle square buttons are too low for my hands.

If we need to declare a winner I'd say... Game Cube controller ! Position of buttons, weight, reliability, If they had added another shoulder pad button, and remove the click on the shoulder pads, then it would have been perfection incarnate.

Ok, that was my two coins. Now you can bring pitchforks !

Agreed, the Gamecube controller was pretty awesome, though a bit odd.
