i believe the last big thing on this gen will be Versus, at least that is FF releated

Exactly. FFXV was probably supposed to come out in 2012 while FFXIV came out in 2009. When FFXIV bombed, FFXV got pushed back so that SQEX could make FFXIV from scratch. FFXV is probably still for current gen but has just been delayed. After all, how can you release FFXV before the remake of FFXIV? |
It is highly unlikely they were developing XV right after XIV came out, at the time they had XIII-2 and Versus.
