I'm some kind of mutant. I jump between the Dual Shock (which I've been using since the mid/late-90's) to the 360 controller without a second thought. I can even do the Wii Remote without breaking a sweat. The Wii Classic Controller--the one without a grip--is the only one that gives me a little grief. That's because I have huge manly hands, though.
The difference between the two HD controllers and their feel/functionality is pretty negligible to me.
