@DaRev shameless?! you do know that something similar has existed for years, im pretty sure Vita was in development before Wii U with the functions that have just been demonstrated, how could they copy something that didnt even exist yet? If your still not convinced, then you have remote play function thats been on PSP for years, it essentially lets you stream content from the PS3 to the PSP and you can play some games(like PS1 classics) Ninty is simply taking that concept and expanding it and making a whole system around it. Sony didnt copy Ninty in this regard
