The wild animals can't help it, they might not be able to form thoughts, but they always know how to reproduce. If you think asexualism is the way to go (I think that's what you think), then you must understand, that two different pairs of DNA are required to make a new creature. Man DNA + Woman DNA = new offspring. If you create offspring using the same pair of DNA, then there is no biodiversity. Biodiversity and reproduction between male and female is what creates evolution. Two different immune systems have a larger potential to create healthy offspring than similar immune systems (relatives). Scent and smell is very important in the science of attraction. People with similar immune systems (which is defined by DNA) will not find each other attractive by their scent, because they have similar immune systems. This is a built in mechanism to try to prevent incest. Maybe that didn't really have anything to do with the topic, but oh well. If the male carries the egg using his DNA, then who fertilizes the egg? Another man, a woman?? I don't really think either of those options would work |
Actually, I'm pretty sure that it's possible (at least in theory) for a woman to make another woman pregnant. Both me and my younger sister (who also get more recent scientific updates...) have heard our teachers say that.
But yeah, a man getting pregnant is still out of this world.
