Not everyone has seen the articles you have and without implicit examples there isn't much to work with in discussion. What even qualifies as a negative article?  Essentially I bring up a request for examples because from my viewpoint the Wii U isn't receiving any more hate from the media than anyone else and that many articles are reasonable concerns about the system.

Reasonable concern is fine, but there has been negativity seemingly spun against Nintendo and the WiiU.  The Eurogamer article was the most recent:

In a previous post I mentioned G4 and Spike TV's behavior during E3.  Most people would agree that Nintendo's press conference was disappointing, but G4 didn't have a single "close up" feature on any WiiU games like they did for most of the other games of E3, save for a couple of very brief mentions from the show floor on Mario and Rayman.  No ZombiU, no Project P-100, no Pikmin 3... and when they did discuss the console during interviews with press, etc, it was met with criticism instead of objectivity from the hosts; as if it was "cool" and better for their image to dismiss the console.

Pachter is another example, but, let's face it, most of us don't take that guy seriously anyway.

But Gamesindustry.biz has also been seemingly negative.  Back in April they ran the article saying that annonymous developers claimed that WiiU wasn't as powerful as the current gen consoles, which is completely fine to report on, as it is indeed news.  However, did they mention anything in the article about other known developers (such as Gearbox) who have stated the contrary?  Nope.  Even in the comments for said article (which consists of their members who are people in the industry such as devs, media, etc) people were expressing their concerns on why GI.biz would do this.  They did later acknowledge 5th Cell's statement that WiiU is more powerful, however, so that's something at least.

It just seems like some (not all) of the media gets more hits when they speak negatively about WiiU instead of being objective and reporting on the positives as well.  Regarding the Vita, I do remember one specific article/video from CNET that made me sick:  Before it's NA release, they stated that because of the state of the handheld market, "Vita probably won't even release in NA".  Yeah...
