They won't. Square-Enix likes building up hype for these games a long time in advance, and all they showed to us last E3 that is any indication of a new FF game is an engine that takes a lot more power than what the current systems can offer. I think that is plenty indication that their plans are towards the distant, next gen future.
... well, we might get a FFXIII-3. But that's because that engine has been perfected and they can easily churn out games in that fashion a lot faster.
