Whats the point? Not everyone uses a friggin 80 inch oled.

Plus people cant even tell the difference between 1080p and 720p... Or people just dont care...

It all depends on how far you are away from the screen. And I can tell you people can tell the difference...otherwise they wouldn't be "bitching" about Dark Souls crappy PC port right now.

yeah ok but PC and Console gaming are played in a different way.

Console gaming are played by a mojority of people from the couch while PC gaming is right up to your face.

Yes, but the couch can be placed in various ways, you know ;)

TV sizes have steadily been growing since flat panels arrived. It's not so rediculous to think 80" tv's might be standard in 10 years time.
When I bought a 52" tv in 2006 (special order, wasn't kept in stock at the time) my family thought I was crazy for buying this huge tv. Now 55" is the standard model at my local tv dealer, and 70" tvs are available on the floor. The things get thinner and lighter too all the time, hanging them on the wall is getting easier every year.

Why not have the same field of view while playing console games as when playing with your head close to a pc screen. No need for a triple screen setup, a large 4k tv will do.
