At least when SS made the jump from NIN to PS it was to EXPAND what was capable of being done with the game. FF would have been a NIN exclusive today if they had the courage to go with CD instead of cartridge, which is the only reason SS jumped ship. This time around its not a full fledge jump, rather SE putting one foot in both camps and being split in two in the process. For instance, if FF Versus XIII was to go multiplatform with WiiU(in hopes it can handle how much they are cramming on BluRay) with it being equal or a bit stronger than current gen, I would not care. There would be no fear of the original or potential product being downgraded. Same with PC releases. |
Whether you are a bunch of other people started it with SONY is irrelevant, it just tickles me that your upset despite the fact that FF actual didnt start on Sony systems, but hey you got a point on expansion and thats what SE tried to do, it failed but that had more to do with the quality of the game, i refuse to believe people are that pathetic in general that they didnt support FF13 as much as the last ones because it was on 360, same goes for everyone of those games you mentioned, they all took a hit in quality, now whether it was because they went multiplat is up for discussion
