Obviously he has to you would die if didnt have water. Food you can somewhat get away with not eating. Water no way, you get dehydrated and die it's that simple. He has to injest some kind of water or your dead period, I think it's 2 or 3 weeks with out food you die And 2 weeks without water and your dead.
