problem is, it already did...in Japan (Sony's major market) at least.  This should be PSV first holiday in many territories but not it's  not it's first since being launched.  Anyways, I still don't think Sony will hit their target sales or be anywhere near respectable sales by this holiday.(just my opinion)

That was launch, not a year, in only one region without an extensive list of appealing games for Japan. Give the Vita, or any console, a year and one holiday season before calling it "dead". Case in point.

But I do agree that Sony won't meet it's target shipments.
