| Smeags said: Guys, we had to moderate 3 different instances of flaming in this thread, and that is completely unacceptable. If you have an issue with a poster, please bring it to our (aka the moderators) attention. This thread is not about Sales2099 or his YouTube videos, it's about the unfortunate closing of Liverpool Studios, so stay on topic. From the Forum Rules: Insults and flaming. Attacking other users for any reason is never acceptable. 11. Do not insult someone's religion, race, sex, sexuality, nationality, political beliefs, or gaming preferences. Debate is encouraged, but respect the beliefs and opinions of others. Do not personally insult other users. This includes calling them fanboys or trolls. Report it when another user insults you instead of insulting them back. If they report you and no one reported their post, guess which one of you gets banned? The moderators do not have time to read every post in a thread, so they will often miss things that are not reported. In general try to treat other users with respect and courtesy. We understand debates get heated, but don’t lose yourself in them. Remember you can’t continue the debate if you’re banned, so be respectful to your fellow forum members. |
I'm sorry but how does Sales dude not get banned with comments like that? That is the definition of flaming. Evey single sony related the same attitude and now even worse when people lose their jobs ceases the opportunity to make fun of sony fans. And no, I don't blame sales2099, but the moderors. Where is the line exactly? Him doing a victory dance? Feel free to ban me for expressing my disappointment about how moderation works. I've been using this website for more than three years and I never got a single ban or warning, but enough is enough here).
On topic: Just checked their wiki page and it seems that I haven't played any of their games, but it's sad for the developers who lost their job (even if they get a job somewhere else, it still won't be the same), the fans and also for the state of the gaming industry. This is really depressing.
