I didn't know about the tax issue. But I agree, I didn't see this coming either. I wonder if the size of the studio is also part of the problem. If it's true that the studio has around 200 employees, it's a pretty huge number for a series like wipeout isn't it? I think racers are in general in the decline this generation sadly. I remember in the 90s and the early 2000s, racers were so damn popular.

The studio had 200 and I think 130 are so are being "moved around" within sony. Why they just couldn't pear down the studio and let them keep doing their thing is beyond me. And since they are keeping so many people on board I have the feeling its more about moving assets from the UK. Evolution is almost definitly next.
