My opinion on these games - Grand Theft Auto IV - I don't get why so many people hate on this game. It is lacking in a few areas compared to San Andreas, but I had a ton of fun with this game. I can understand if you're a single-player-only gamer. Then, I would agree with you considering the single player was pretty weak imo. However, I got most of my enjoyment out of the multiplayer. I've had some of my best mp moments with GTA IV. I still play it regularly. Sure, the shooting mechanics aren't anything special (In fact, they're pretty mediocre imo) but the modes / world / content, etc are exceptional. I often find myself playing Free Roam for hours on end just running around shooting, sniping, blasting rockets, doing drive-bys, forming alliances with strangers. Becoming rivals with one day and tracking him down the city. I'm never board when I play this game. And when I'm not in Free Roam, I find myself in Cops N Crooks or GTA race usually. And I've had more fun with GTA Race than I've had with nearly every other Racing game. - Super Mario Galaxy & Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Don't think there's much explaining needed here. I think it deserves to be here - Bioshock - I haven't played this game for a few years, but I thought it was great. I was a little let down by the exceptional praise & hype, but it was still a great game. I think that for it's time, however, it was as amazing as the critics mentioned, so I'll say it deserves this spot. - Uncharted 2: Amoung Thieves - Similar to Bioshock. I found it great, but not amazing. But I can understand the appeal to the game and I can perfectly see how some people can identify it as their favorite game of this gen. I say it deserves this spot. - The Orange Box - Haven't Played it. - Batman: Arkham city - Definitely deserves spot! My favorite game this gen. - Mass Effect 2 - Definitely deserves this spot! On of my favorite games this gen. - Elder Scrolls: Skyrim - I'm still in the early stages of playing it, so I can't say for now, but as of now, it appears to be worthy of this position. - LittleBigPlanet - Definitely does NOT deserve this spot imo. I don't see why so many people love this. I thought it was amazing at first, but after playing it for so long, I began to grow a stronger and stronger disdain with it. The platforming is extremely floaty making jumping feel odd. And most of the levels are flat out boring imo. I guess most people like designing their own levels and enjoy floaty physics? My Top Ten would be: 1. Arkham City 2. Super Smash Bros. Brawl 3. Valkyria Chronicles 4. Super Mario Galaxy 2 5. Dark Souls 6. Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time 7. Left 4 Dead 2 8. Mass Effect 2 9. Portal 2 10. Mario Party 8
