Yar's Revenge absolutely ruled.
I'll tell you what, though, for instant fun it's still hard to beat the Atari 2600. I used to run a skate park. We had an SNES and an Atari 2600 hooked up to the TV, and the Atari was FAR more popular than the SNES. You just turned it on, and BAM, adrenaline rush. Yar's Revenge, Defender, Seaquest, all those games are still fun to play with a group of people.
