I'm 38, never went off gaming since I was 6. I did stop following the news and world affairs, life is too short to get worked up about that. I spend about 2-3 hours a night on games, movies, tv, science articles, standup comedy, whatever I feel like at the time. Mostly games though.
Do whatever helps you relax but get rid of the feeling you always have to be doing something 'useful'. That only leads to stress. Downtime is important.
