Yeah, I wasn't around for the 3DS' launch but it saddens me to think that people were trolling that too. And that they learnt nothing from that situation.
I get that people are cynical but it just causes these forums to be a really unpleasant place to be around unless you want to join in the 'VITA IS DEAD LOL' gangbang.
