The only potential loss of revenue would be if someone was willing to buy both versions, which is pretty much non-existent. Since not every game will be on both systems, cross buy can serve as a purchase incentive and allow cross play to actually be a feasible feature since cross play can only be taken advantage of by those who buy both version, which again is almost non-existent.

Really this is how all game software should be treated. You should be able to buy the game itself and play it on the system of your choice. This is a step in the right direction and I support it 100%. 3rd parties should jump on board.

Well I agree that it is a great feature and would love if it was the standard, but thats 100% against what the game industry is today. The whole plan since the beginning with Vita play on the go was buy both versions of the game so you can keep gaming while on the go. I have seen multiple people say the were doing/going to do this on The Show 12. Evein if you sell the PS3 at 50 and Vita at 30 you are making 80 off a game and a port as opposed to maing just 60. Now they are making the same off a game and a port for what the game itself would sell for.

Face it folks this is a desperation move by sony to get more Vitas sold. Im not a doomsayer on the system, but this is just an incentive to move a underselling product. Do you really think Sony would be doing this if Vita was selling exceptoinally great?

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
