If one wants to have this as a focus on Sega, the company, and their history of consoles, I can do a bit of a reveal about my biases.
Along the days of Sega's console, I would be on the Internet, and you got the share of trolls out there. You had partisans who would go on Usenet, the Sega forum, and end up trolling about Sony's brand, and everything Playstation, taking a dump on Sega. It was sheer arrogance on how a newcomer brand would rule Sega, get all the exclusives, and so on. Anyone know of a dude who went with the name Omarichu or something? Well, he is one individual. There was also Peter Sinclair on the Atari usenet newsgroup, who would trash Atari. When you invest in a console, you end up wanting it to succeed. You don't like other people trashing it, and trolling. My being a single console partisan died after the Atari 8bit computer failed and I went with with a Commodore 64, and then got a PC.
Well, since all that, I will definitely have a bit of a want to stick it to anyone who is a Sony fanboy, gloating and so on. There is a bit of delight in my part if Sony ends up getting humbled. I say this even while I enjoy content on Sony platforms.
