If 'MerrKuh were still part of the British Empire we would be more hated than we are now, we would just be hated as British citizens. If there had never been a split, the Empire never would have collapsed, it would be the pre-eminent power in the world, and therefore the most hated.
No love lost for GB or the UK as a whole. Great Olympics by the way, we won (US) and you guys did fantastic, especially considering the size of you population and the fact that you brought home 47 medals in Beijing compared to 65 this time.
Things are better the way they are, the UK still exerts great influence over the world while not having the Administrative nightmare of running an empire that spans the globe. The US takes the heat for keeping the world in check with its best friend, Team GB.
