| Train wreck said: Go Nats! DC baseball is starting to come alive. They seem to be the sexy pick for one of the wildcard spots in the National league. They have a strong pitching core, (this week has been awful though; grapefruit league injuries, Strasburg on a tight IP count and drama with John Lannan), Bryce Harper should be on board sometime this summer, don't see why they can't make a splash. We still need to upgrade at the leadoff position as Ian Desmond is not that good. |
Good analysis Train!
Best team in baseball. Even though our core of hitters are mostly unkonwns, our bats are starting to come alive. After a soft patch in July, our pitching core remains strong, and even with Strausburg shutting down for the year, I feel that John Lannan or another one of our fine call ups will fill his role nicely. Its World Series or bust, I wouldnt be surprised if we won the whole thing.
