Not even sure if having 3G in the Ipad is a good idea either. Though I live in Canada and the telecom companies here screw us over like no other country. |
lool come to jordan then, my 3G has a 300 MB download limit and its slow as hell, yeah you read it right just 300 MB. ohh and our internet plans for houses all have limits as well, ours is 20 GBs a month and if you pass that limit you are charged more, they also fake the numbers and say you downloaded more GBs so you can pay more. the other day we paid roughly 170 dollars for just two months. in comparasion googles new fiber optics costs 70 a month with 1 GB speed. my internet connection is 5 crappy MBs. lol canada telecom companies dont sound so bad now huh? :P

This is exactly what they do here in Canada. Most cell data plans are 500 megs and charge you overage charges. We have data caps that start at 20 gigs and go as high as 300, with overage charges. I used to pay 140 bi-monthly until I called and told my ISP I was switching. Like there are little guys that give better deals, but they're not everywhere and are uncommon.
