My guess is it is an option some where in the audio settings. I don't have a ps3 so i can't check. But look under the audio options for something about mics and its output and make sure that you mc is selected (should be usb i think) this is the only sep by step i could find: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080324112107AAatTJt
