Yeah, Sony's Gamescom conference definitely had some role to play here.
But even on a normal day, PS-centric articles tend to be popular on N4G. I'd attribute that partly to the timing of Sony's past successes (the first truly internet-centric generation grew up alongside Sony's consoles, and I would assume a high concentration of those that ended up becoming enthusiast gamers are more in-tune with Sony than the other console manufacturers - it takes time for the others to catch up), and partly due to whatever reasons are causing the ps3 to outsell the other consoles. It makes sense that the console that's currently selling the most is being talked about the most.

And I agree with the comment above me. I've often wondered why people make threads about other websites they don't like. If you don't like them, post here or elsewhere instead. Not much reason to bring your discontent to other boards with you. If you don't like the content there, why talk about it here?
