Well I would have fired you too. Your job is to sell products, not give your opinion. Even if a customer asks for your opinion, you need to lie to make that sale.

Not only is that wrong, it is also stupid. Because that same person will come back to tell you what he/she thinks about what you told him/her.
And this always happens in every Gamestop.....
