Which resolution should I get with new HDTV?

If it's a larger tv, 1080p is the way to go. The difference is noticeable on a 40 in. screen from 10 ft. away, and is very noticeable on a 50+ in. screen from 10 feet away.

Or at least it's noticeable to me...
