blu-ray?? well then you really might want to get 1080p. Anyone upgrading to Blu-ray right now is probably a videophile-- or at least that is what is usually the case. Not everyone can see a difference between 720p and 1080p. I would suggest that as you are checking prices really try to see the difference between the two. Make sure that the difference in picture justifies the monetary difference for you.
A smaller screen is also going to be better if you don't have much space.
don't hook-up a blu-ray to a 480p. You could save a lot of money and get a dvd player instead.
