Let me clarify an earlier post of mine in this thread. Before I was scared away from the PC by lightning, I just wanted to make clear that while I don't think Sony understood gaming during the days of the PS1 and PS2, I do think they understand gaming and gamers, now. Now, the problem is that they are having a hard time understanding how to motivate casual gamers and non-gamers. In fact, I think it's too early to tell if ANYBODY creating an 8th gen console (portable or home) understands what the majority of gamers want at this point. This is a transition period in gaming and anything goes.
