Posting here. Hmm, what to say.
Wikipedia tells me that this game is being used to fund/publicise the company's MMO. That didn't end too well last time someone attempted this. I hope that isn't the case here.
Game sounds good, no doubt. I hope all zombie-themed games don't go down this route for the next few years though. I'm all for changes for the serious/survival to push the medium forward and I'm glad that TLoU, DayZ and this are doing it. But at the same time - personally - I prefer arcade-y style humorous run and guns. Steam tells me I've put 65 hours into L4D2 and I must have put about 40 into Dead Rising 2 as well.
It's the same problem I have with FPS games. I don't mind the Call of Duty/Battlefield cloning that's rampant in the genre at the moment, but I miss twitch shooters and more arcade-y stuff like Timesplitters. If there were just a few more of them around it would be a good balance.
Anyway, I'll probably buy this if it comes to Steam & turns out good.
