nope it's a clusterfuck because people seems to want the devs heads for this stupid comparisons. I mean for fucks sake, the devs have already said they found inspiration from the game, the have clearly stated WHY the studio was created etc etc

but nintendo fans seems to have an issue with people trying to differentiate it...it SHOULD be differentiated because it does play very differently. This seems like a personal insult to some apparently. I'm playing the beta now and I'm telling you this. it's the same with dtoid article. the man played it, had an opinion, he is out of line. That japanese dev (forgot his name) gave an opinion on the game even without playing it, friggin gospel!

1. People should be less negative, especially those who will never even play this game. Like those who don't even own a playstation console. This game is for PS fans. The reason why it irritates ps fans is because nintendo fans do not like to hear an opposing opinion about the differences about the game. I'm glad this thread is here and hope all of you will stay out of the other threads and let those who are actually interested in the game talk abut the game.

2. Nintendo fans should just shut the hell up for a change. Focus on the game, the mechanics, the story, and other elements. This stupid argument about le copiez is just so redundant now. The game IS distinguishable on a gameplay level unless you are looking only skin deep. It's like calling all shooters the same because, hey, they shoot with guns. People need to accept it. People also need to make up their minds. You hate on the game for looking like smash, and yet you also hate on it because it plays differently? Make up your mind already.

Itagaki can do whatever the hell he wants. Heck I hope he takes some lessons from all stars too. Even at a barebones level the online component of all stars kicks smash ass for example. Mixing up two franchises for the stages is also a great idea. I hope he does. And not sure what this player invincible bit is about. they are not. ever played Dissidia? That's the same concept as this.

fact of the matter is, people need to deal with it, and get over it already. I mean for crying out loud, it's been months and months since the game was revealed! About time to move on surely
