Why? He's going to be easy to pick apart. Not as insane as Bachmann, but his selection is going to make it even easier for the Obama campaign to throw together the narrative that Mitt Romney is trying to destroy the middle and underclasses, with trying to dismantle the social safety net and showing outright contempt for the working class (the theme of Ayn Rand is contempt for the workers)
