Well for starters, the game is like Nintendos in that it involves all mascots (and even some3rd party ones) owned by the corporation and put into one game. That in itself isnt a ripoff but that its a 2D fighting game featuring a similar aesthetic and physics. Also, since many feel a ripoff is inferior to the original, its worth noting that Sonys mascots have nothing on Nintendos, which in itself is gonna cost this game in review points.
But its the differences are so small that not only do little to set it apart but actually wont make the game as fun. No knock backs, not knowing points until the end of the game, and the only way to make a point is to just "grind" your way until you got the energy.
As with all ripoffs, it wont be as successful. The preorders are allready showing it. I am amazed at the polar opposite of internet PS3 fans and real world PS3 fans.
