I ask because when I was at school, being gay was seen as something to be ashamed of, so anyone who was or might have been would not have said anything.

I'm 19 so I just finish high school. Almost hard to believe how it was in my school right? Trust me though if you were there you'd face palm like every second lol.

Seems schools are gettin more and more open and liberated.

Maybe you're right your gen sounds a bit different.
