well its more acceptable than the 3ds launch disaster.

"Laughs" Not sure if serious.

fyi, i'm serious.

Ok, Then I assume you're reffering to the price cut and the money Nintendo lost from it. Becuase the Vita had a weaker launch in all regions and is performing worse then the 3DS before the price cut.

yeah wasn't the price cut issued within 2-3 month of release? that was quick drastic change if you ask me. but thanks to their quick actions the price cut was very effective. but is it being sold at a lost? that is what we cant confirm.

It was closer to five months in actually.  As of a couple weeks ago, the 3DS is no longer being sold at a loss.  And deskpro is right, the 3DS' situation was never as disastorous as the Vita's - Nintendo didn't let things get that bad.

And Nintendo dropping the price shouldn't be looked upon as a bad thing.  Nintendo did what it had to do in order to move units.  Iwata admitted things weren't going as planned and the company made decisions to correct things - something Sony should be doing for the Vita.  Instead, we get Trentton in denial, saying >50k sales is acceptable - which is pretty pathetic.
