And I wouldn't say it's a shameless ripoff, the gameplay mechanics are fairly different. Brawl was a party game, while PAS is geared for a more competitive audience. Some hardcore fighting game fan who like the style of Smash but wish it was more suitable to competitive fighting would cal PAS an evolution not ripoff.
