Grats on the job! There are a bunch of rumors going on at my job that they might get rid of the 3rd shift entirely or gut it even more which is pretty hard since there has already been a few waves of layoffs. I'm not going to stress too much because that is the nature of USA contract manufacturing. I work at Flextronics which I am not too proud of saying. Maybe it would be good to be laid off and perhaps I can finally find a better job or (gasp) use my Wildlife Management degree for something besides adding more personal debt.
Update: I did just get laid off tonight. What joy it is to work in the shit manufacturing industry in USA.
