as someone mentioned over at gaf...this same thing happened to the versus trademark last year. They just renewed it. That's all. I guess that's just how trademarks work. Sony execs including Shuhei Yoshida (and I mention him cuz I genuinely find him to be the one of the best execs with the least bullshit nowadays) said the game is still well under development.
