imo the NSMB series and Mario Kart are the only franchises Nintendo really likes to milk (and probably Pokemon), and as a Nintendo fan I'm honestly getting tired of it. Thankfully they still have some great franchises like Zelda, Metroid, StarFox, F-Zero, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, Golden Sun, 3D Mario, Smash Bros to name a few which they don't milk as much.
